Hi Students! Ang Pangalan Ko Ay Sir Ari

Oh my god! I got a little bit nervous but mostly excited when I knew that I have 4 classes to teach today. I had 2 classes in the morning and 2 others in the afternoon. It was like I had been waiting a long moment to have a chance on doing teaching practice. The subject was Creative Non-fiction with a topic of Plot. I was going to teach grade 12 Humanities and Social Sciences from Frost, Browning, Wordsworth and.

In this chance, I planed to use sticky notes as my media to encourage and to motivate the students from the beginning of the lesson teaching practice.

AN ICE-BREAKING ACTIVITY IN THIS MEETING:

Me: "Alright! Magandang umaga students?"

Students: "Selamat Pagi, Sir Ari!" (they always tried to speak bahasa even when I great them)

Me: "Well, before we start our lesson today, I'm gonna give you a little activity. So, when I say "Class?" what you have to do is saying "yes sir!". Okay, do you understand?

Students: "yes sir"

Me:"Alright, Class?"

Students: "Yes sir"

Me:"class class class?"

Students: (all of them randomly saying) "yes yes, sir sir. yes sir sir, bla bla bla."

All of the sudden we're laughing together. I also showed my silly-confused-person face to them.

Me:"Ahaha alright! so when I mention class 3 times, the answer would be yes sir yes sir yes sir. do you get my point?

Students: "yes sir"
